Toyota accused of violating legal safety standards...

Many are pointing the finger at Toyota over the quality of its vehicles. The problem found in the vehicles was the quality of the braking software, as a result of which Mr. Toyoda has announced a call back of 437,000 hybrid vehicles globally built since April 2009, including the front runner model Prius to fix the problem.

More than 80 complaints have been lodged with US safety authorities with another trendy model Corolla sedan about steering problem. The drivers are warned, if any problem is felt, to be careful and step firmly on the brake.

The issue has raised a question mark against the performance of the Toyota vehicles. The issue has also affected the new 2010 version of the model Prius. After all, the world is waiting for the redoubled quality of the Toyota vehicles as per Mr. Toyoda’s commitment.
